So we had a horse at the barn who was developing some sort of fungus gunk on his face, probably because of a mixture of sweat and dirt that was just irritating his skin. After a little while of trying to just wipe his face with a wet towel, and applying some sort of generic anti-fungal stuff, a lightbulb finally came on to try the essential oils!
The recipe:
Apple Cider Vinegar (with the mother)
Filtered water
Frankincense
Lavender
Melaleuca (Tea tree oil)
Fractionated Coconut Oil
I mixed it all together, put it into a little shampoo type bottle, and we started applying it on his face about twice a day. After about a week, his face was completely clear!!! The mixture worked better than I would have guessed. I will keep this trick up my sleeve for any fungus I encounter from now on.
First picture is before, you can see the fungus directly in the middle of his face and then randomly in other spots as well. One week later, the picture on the right is the after and his skin looks amazing!!!!
